Ao no Exorcist

Last Updated: Apr 16, 2013

5.00 (moderate) For now, a very good anime. Maybe its plot it is not as original as it can be, but characters are very good and graphics are really nice.

The main character is so warm-hearted... but a little naugthy (he remembered me of Monkey D.Luffy).

Manga series has, for now, 6 volumes so it's most likely there'll be "extra seasons not related to the original manga".

I don't want to make spoilers but, according to the manga, Ao no Exorcist would be one of the most important premiers of this

season. Had the anime followed exactly the same way manga has, Ao no Exorcist would be really awesome and great.

At the end, it has turned to the worst. Shame on them!

Ayashi no Ceres

Seen: completely; Own: completely;

Last Updated: May 04, 2011

6.00 (average) I think it was one of the first anime i really owned completly. In my opinion, Ayashi no Ceres is better than Fushigi Yugi... less romantic, maybe. There's more suffering and cruelty (not a lot).

However, the drwaing is not as good as it is in Fushigi Yugi. The story is shorter and there're no OVAs.

The plot is very good. In fact. i realy like japanese myths and this anime is about one of them; about a godess whose shawl is stolen. She must stay in the earth till she finds the shawl. Cause she's not able to find it, the godess is reborn in every generation of her family in order to bring her shawl back.

Of course, the anime is more complicated than the legend but i will not make any spoiler here ^^, you'll have to see the anime if you want to know what happens.

Beelzebub

Seen: partially

Last Updated: May 13, 2011

6.00 (average) At first it was good enough but, by now, Beelzebub has regressed in terms of quality and story. For what i've seen, the plot followed

nothing has to do with the manga. A pity indeed, cause the manga is getting an interesting turn of facts. I think the anime is being

refilled with extra episodes that have non sense at all... just stupid: manga is far long enough to follow it truthfully. Personally, i

dislike Beelzebub just for this reason. Nevertheless, Beelzebub has good graphics and quality.

Bleach

Seen: completely

Last Updated: Jul 25, 2012

7.50 (good) Since "Hueco Mundo saga", Bleach is going down. The newest manga chapters are lazy and dull. The best about Bleach was Ichigo at the very beginning, when he was a pimp (kind of)... now, he's too soft. Moreover, the plot gets worse. However, the graphic's quality greatly improves.

Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo

Seen: completely

Last Updated: May 13, 2011

10.00 (excellent) The oddest anime i have ever seen in my entire life!! Bobobo is just a freak show... an excellent one, by the way. The craziest

characters all over the anime world are there to make us laugh like never before.

There is no logic in their acts, just fun. Graphics and quality do not matter, tought they are good enough. What really matters is the

spectacle Bobobo offers us. If you expect for Bobobo to improve its plot over time, you just take the wrong serie.

Requirements for Bobobo:
- Be, at least, as crazy as they are. -
- If you cannot cope with them, do not panic, join them.
- Do not judge theme, just let them be.
- Always believe in Bobobo and his actions.
- Believe it or not, all make sense... in a way... in an odd way, indeed.

Totally recommended. Absolutely great.

Captain Tsubasa

Seen: completely

Last Updated: May 13, 2011

7.50 (good) I was a child when I first saw it and I cannot remember all... but what i can say is "Captain Tsubasa" has become a myth. It is one of

the series all anime/manga addict must see (in my opinion, at least) like Dragon Ball, Akira, Astro Boy and so on. It is a classic between classics. No matter if you do not like football, that is not the point; the relationship between characters, their rivalries, how they face their weakness... that kind of stuff.

Particularly, i do like the first seasons, when Tsubasa is still a kid. The season where he comes to Barcelona and join the local team it is a little boring.

However, it is a good anime.

10.00 (excellent) Absolutely awesome! Even I do not like poetry, I'm gonna buy the english version of the "Hyakunin Isshu", I swear it. But not only is the story behind the poems so good; the opening and ending themes are superb! Simply great.

I have never thought I would like so much an anime about poetry, just poetry.

Claymore

Last Updated: May 13, 2011

7.50 (good) Not a bad one, Claymore is a good example of an anime that drinks straight from manga... and it leads to its climax brilliantly. Maybe the

weakest point of the anime is the way it ends. In my opinion, i would like for Claymore to continue with the anime cause, by now, it is

getting more and more interesting.

The graphics where good enough and the OST was simply great, not a art of work but almost.

Even though it is a little bloody and, sometimes, it borders on gore, Claymore does not become tacky.

I really liked it when i saw it and due to the anime, i got hooked on manga.

Last Updated: May 13, 2011

6.50 (above average) In my opinion, a lame version of the manga. The anime drawing and the quality do not fit the one we can see in the manga.

The end was forced. Had they wanted, the anime could have followed on par with the manga. Actually, it would not have been a

problem because the manga was very upfront comparing with the anime. In my opinion, they cut off the anime in its climax.

It is not like i did not like it but i think D.Gray-Man could have been really better. The anime was not properly approched.

9.50 (excellent) The first two episodes are exactly the same in anime and manga. If the production of the anime just follow this way, it would be one

of the greatest anime ever! Though a little bloody, the story hooks you from the beginning and each manga chapter is better than the

previous.

Both characters and story are the perfect combination. I would have never thought that such a plot will be that good!! It's a

masterpiece. And the opening theme is brilliant, it perfectly sums up the essence of the manga. Absolutely awsome. One of the

better stories i have ever met with!

9.00 (very good) God! It is so fucking funny! I adore Kaiser... even though I really dislike his music (but don't tell him!!). Maybe the graphics or the quality are not the big deal but once you're in... it really doesn't matter. What I like the most is that kind of identity crisis Soichi has... it is hilarious!! But I'd rather call him moron, that's it.

My point is... DMC!

Digimon Adventure

Seen: completely; Own: completely;

Last Updated: May 04, 2011

10.00 (excellent) My first anime. The first season is the best ever tought the second one and the forth one are also good. Maybe the drawing is not the best but it has something that attracts you... it is like enter the orbit of a black hole; you cannot leave.

And digimons are sou cute and great. Every child who has seen digimon dreams about them... i really wanted to be Agumon's mate. He was my favourite one, the dino-digimon ^^.

It can seem a childish anime... and, in some ways, it is but this is what matters less; if you're having fun, the age is not important.

In my opinion, Digimon Adventure is a wonderful anime everyone must see.

4.50 (moderate) Horrible graphics. Too many boobs. Dubbing does not suit it. Personally, i found it dissapointing. Disgusting.

Such a story deserves something more and the anime, in my opinion, is not good enough.

The strongest point is that there is not too many extra episodes so the plot is always moving forward.

Had i to recommend manga or anime, i would say "Manga", no doubt about it though there are a couple of seasons which are bad enough to make

you wanna leave it. But if you surpass them... well, tha plot gets better.

Fruits Basket

Last Updated: Sep 12, 2012

7.50 (good) A beautiful shojo. Lots of love, friendship, sadness, stupid problems, odd situations, strange "powers" and funny characters.

It usually happens that this kind of anime is full of romantic scenes and the main character ends crying or screaming love stuff but

in Fruits Basket nothing of this happens, at least, in the anime.

Graphics are very well-done and opening theme is cute and tender.

At first, i got hooked because on of the charecters but then the story really took me on. And manga is even better. However, the

way it ends for some of the characters are just a little forced. I mean, like if the mangaka wrote it quickly to end it soon.

Fullmetal Alchemist

Seen: completely

Last Updated: May 04, 2011

9.00 (very good) Even Fullmetal Alchemist: Shintetsu is often called "the second part of FMA", that's not true. In fact, it's FMA Shintetsu the original one... I mean that FMA Shintetsu follows the manga plot but FMA does not.

It's a well-done and brilliant anime not just for the graphics but for the story. And the end. Furthermore, Ed and Al's story is so sad but, at the same time, so tender. And they are both so cute and wonderful boys.

Aside from Ed and Al, the homunculi are also a great group of characters. My fave one is Envy.

And one of the funniest ever is Lin, especially when coupled wit Greed XD

8.50 (very good) Pretty cute though I prefer the little mermaid of Disney. However, this story gives us a new point of view of the mermaid world. Personally, I was expecting some similar to Howl's Moving Castle but Ponyo is good enough.

Ponyo is one of the masterpieces of Ghibli Studios, like Tototoro, Chihiro, Porco Rosso and so on. Every story they take becomes an art work.

8.00 (good) I've never thought i would like so much an anime which plot's about World War I and II. It's simply funny. The Italian-Germany duo is awsome... and the Japan sardonic humor is the best ever! XD

France is just a womanizer and Russia is so... dangerous or it seems ^^.

At first, i thought that maybe in this anime there will be plenty of "ikemen" but... well, they are but not as expected.

And the stories about chibi Italy are really cute.

It's a good anime if you want to laugh a lot.

High School of the Dead

2.00 (very poor) Too many boobs. I was expecting something more because the story was good, I mean the plot it is just great, like "The Walking Dead",

However graphics and quality are great: scenics, backgrounds, all. I did not notice the music so i have no opinion about it.

10.00 (excellent) It is brilliant, great, awesome. In my opinion, the best Ghibli's movie. The adaptation of the book is excellent, though there are some

missing scenes, and graphics, quality, music, all it is just perfect.

As always, Ghibli Studios has made a masterpiece of a masterpiece... in my opinion, they have improved what it was almost

unsurpassable.

It is one of my favourite anime movies among with Strong World and Spirited Away.

9.50 (excellent) Thanks Godness the producers of the anime decide finishing it. There is a lot to be said about Inyasha. It is a brilliant story which

perfectly mixes the best of a shonen and the best of a shojo.

Techniques, fighting styles, plot, characters, that past-future connection thing, scenics, graphics, drawings, music, enemies... it is

all so good.

Even the movies are absolutely awesome... well, sometimes the drawing of these is not up to the anime but that is something unavoidable,

perfection does not exist.

No matter if you are a girl or a boy, in my opinion, Inuyasha is an anime everyone can enjoy.

Kare Kano

Seen: completely; Own: completely;

Last Updated: May 04, 2011

9.00 (very good) One of the most increible shojo i've ever seen. It's so real that can be happening right now anywhere. There's no magic, no heaven or hell, no myths, nothing out of normal.

The drawing is really beautiful and the plot is very good. It's a little like "Kimi ni Todoke" but a far lot better. Maybe, the only negative point it is (in my opinion) that the anime ends when the manga is getting more and more interesting.

One of the strongest points of kare kano is the music. The opening theme is well-known by every shojo anime-addict. In fact, 5 years ago, in the Fair's Manga of Barcelona, "Tenshi no Yubikiri" was the most sung song by everyone.

I especially remember one of the episodes where the animation was done with clippings. I spent all the afternoon wondering if my TV was broken or something cause i couldn't understand why they have done that episode the way it was. Even now it's a mistery XD

9.00 (very good) I love the drawing; it is not usual, it gives strenght to the plot, it is a unique style... and graphics are very good. A little masterpiece

that, in my opinion, did not have the deserved recognition.

The plot is, indeed, excellent. Characters are all very innovative.

The second OP, by ALI Project, suits perfectly with the plot. In fact, it is called "Katana to Saya" - "Sword and Scabbard" and

represents with pinpoint perfection the relationship between the two main characters.

I really love this anime, an anime i found by chance.

Katekyo Hitman Reborn!

Seen: completely

Last Updated: Sep 12, 2012

7.50 (good) All the male characters are realy really great... and really awsome, even Tsuna (just sometimes). The plot is odd but very original. That mafia-magic power thing it's simply brilliant!

The first ten episodes are boring but when the succession arc begins (when Xanxus breaks in) all get really exciting. And the, as the anime goes on, people get more and more hooked up.

As a girl, i cannot choose just one of the boys but the better ones for me are Yamamoto Takeshi, Superbi Squalo, Beelphegor, Xanxus, Fran, Sasegawa Ryohei, Colonelo, Maamon and Reborn.

And for girls... well, in this respect we are talking about a very sexist manga: girls juts cook and wash, nothing more nothing less. And when one of them takes the resolve to fight, she's beaten very quickly. There's only one girl strong enough to take action... and it is five years old; I-Pin. The other ones are lame and stupid, very stupid.
