Yuu Yuu Hakusho

Seen: completely; Own: completely;

Last Updated: May 04, 2011

10.00 (excellent) Altought a little old, Yuu Yuu Hakusho is the anime that was claimed to be the successor of Dragon Ball. Well, in my opinion, it's better than Dragon Ball, not only the plot but the drawing and the characters. It is not a long story, just 19 volumes and 112 episodes.

Personally, i think that Yuu Yuu Hakusho has a very well-developed plot and it's easy to follow. There's not a lot of mysteries so the connections that are established between arcs are clear and simple.

If i'm not wrong, the final arc in the manga has its version in the OVAs, called "Eizou Hakusho".

About the characters... in a way, they are stereotypes. Even thought, there's a underlying originality that makes them unique and charismatic. Throughout the story, they are constantly changing, they do evolve. At the end, even being themselves, they have a little bit of one another. Their powers are really strong, even at the beginning, but due to an accumulation of circumstances, these powers are asleep. Not until the end do they awake.

All in all, is a good show, and very funny too.

One Piece

Last Updated: May 04, 2011

10.00 (excellent) Even the drawing is not at its best now, One Piece is one of the best anime in show now. All the pirate and Akuma no Mi thing is just great. And characters are really funny, and lovely too.

It's a story where the good ones are seen like the bad guys and the real bad guys are thought to be the good and pure!! And it shouldn't be like this!! the pirates are meant to be bad, not good... but there you have it!! they are all good! or, at least, not as bad as the "good ones" pretend they to be. Mundial Government has a lot to hide... i think that this is one of the most important reasons for why pirates turn to be not the devil itself.

And the powers of the devil fruits are really awsome! Rubber, Fire, Darkness, Soap, Humanoid, Death, Pieces, Flower, Lightning and so on... Had i have the option, i would like to be an animal. However, i wouldn't like to turn a hammer ^^U.

Luffy and his crew are all so happy sailing all over the world... and they are having so much fun that, sometimes, i envy them.

Digimon Adventure

Last Updated: May 04, 2011

10.00 (excellent) My first anime. The first season is the best ever tought the second one and the forth one are also good. Maybe the drawing is not the best but it has something that attracts you... it is like enter the orbit of a black hole; you cannot leave.

And digimons are sou cute and great. Every child who has seen digimon dreams about them... i really wanted to be Agumon's mate. He was my favourite one, the dino-digimon ^^.

It can seem a childish anime... and, in some ways, it is but this is what matters less; if you're having fun, the age is not important.

In my opinion, Digimon Adventure is a wonderful anime everyone must see.

Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo

Seen: completely

Last Updated: May 13, 2011

10.00 (excellent) The oddest anime i have ever seen in my entire life!! Bobobo is just a freak show... an excellent one, by the way. The craziest

characters all over the anime world are there to make us laugh like never before.

There is no logic in their acts, just fun. Graphics and quality do not matter, tought they are good enough. What really matters is the

spectacle Bobobo offers us. If you expect for Bobobo to improve its plot over time, you just take the wrong serie.

Requirements for Bobobo:
- Be, at least, as crazy as they are. -
- If you cannot cope with them, do not panic, join them.
- Do not judge theme, just let them be.
- Always believe in Bobobo and his actions.
- Believe it or not, all make sense... in a way... in an odd way, indeed.

Totally recommended. Absolutely great.

Howl's Moving Castle

10.00 (excellent) It is brilliant, great, awesome. In my opinion, the best Ghibli's movie. The adaptation of the book is excellent, though there are some

missing scenes, and graphics, quality, music, all it is just perfect.

As always, Ghibli Studios has made a masterpiece of a masterpiece... in my opinion, they have improved what it was almost

unsurpassable.

It is one of my favourite anime movies among with Strong World and Spirited Away.

10.00 (excellent) Absolutely great. It is long enough to enjoy it fully and short enough not to get bored with it.

It is an anime broadcasted at 2011 so graphics and drawing are good. Plot is weird but extraordinary. It has nothing in common with

Togashi's earlier works.

An excentric and crazy prince who comes to the Earth just for fun. A bodyguard who is in the verge of losing his sanity. A high

school student who unfortunately gets in touch with that insane prince. And lots of people who gets involved with the masochistic

games the prince loves playing. One of the best comedies ever... even better than Bobobo!

That kind of plot is just brilliant and incredibly funny and entertaining. I laughed as much with the anime as I did with the manga.

In fact, there are only just a few changes, for example, at the end of the anime where the serie skips the last two or three

chapters of the manga. But for everything else, the plot stays true.

Another masterpiece to check ^^

10.00 (excellent) Absolutely awesome! Even I do not like poetry, I'm gonna buy the english version of the "Hyakunin Isshu", I swear it. But not only is the story behind the poems so good; the opening and ending themes are superb! Simply great.

I have never thought I would like so much an anime about poetry, just poetry.

Prince of Tennis

Seen: completely

Last Updated: May 13, 2011

9.75 (excellent) At first, it can seem boring because of the plot: tennis. But skiping that, Prince of Tennis is a funny shonen with lots of handsome guys

and lots of hyper-weird techniques.

The graphics and quality are excellent and absolutely awesome. Not only the character design but also the scenics and the tennis

matches. However, it is hard to believe that high school students are able to play the way they do... or look the way they are. I mean, some of them seem older than me!!

One of the main characters is mistaken for a teacher!! And he is 14!! And what is also incredible is that they all are genius... that is impossible! I mean, Prince of Tennis is

a big lie!! Well, most of the anime is but... well, you know what i mean. Nevertheless, Prince is really good and joyable.

Maybe matches are too long but is worthy the time spent because of the impossible techniques shown.

And there is a lot of extra material, i mean, stuff to be bought, a lot of merchandising.

The Prince movie is just a big paranoia, a veeeeeeeery big one. Unreal to utmost limits.

All in all, it is good.

Inuyasha

Last Updated: May 13, 2011

9.50 (excellent) Thanks Godness the producers of the anime decide finishing it. There is a lot to be said about Inyasha. It is a brilliant story which

perfectly mixes the best of a shonen and the best of a shojo.

Techniques, fighting styles, plot, characters, that past-future connection thing, scenics, graphics, drawings, music, enemies... it is

all so good.

Even the movies are absolutely awesome... well, sometimes the drawing of these is not up to the anime but that is something unavoidable,

perfection does not exist.

No matter if you are a girl or a boy, in my opinion, Inuyasha is an anime everyone can enjoy.

Shoujo Kakumei Utena

Seen: completely; Own: completely;

Last Updated: May 13, 2011

9.50 (excellent) Truth be told... i've seen Utena thousand times and i really do not get it at all. It is beautifully done, very very good but hard to

understand, at least, the whole idea ^^U.

I love its graphics, its drawings, its music... fights, characters, ilustrations, scenics, its mysteries, all.

Totally awesome, human relationships established between characters are wonderfully complex and splendidly resoved, even though i do not get it, that is

something i could see by looking at how they related each other after solvinh their problems.

One of the things i like the most is the "theater" that those girl's shadows always made before a fight. I found it extremely subtle, as if they were droping a

hint, a very keen one.

I also like the movie, where Utena and Toga made a step forward in their relationship, something not seen in the anime but known by all. Just a pity, i think

they are a pretty couple.

Deadman Wonderland

Seen: completely; Own: completely;

Last Updated: Aug 11, 2011

9.50 (excellent) The first two episodes are exactly the same in anime and manga. If the production of the anime just follow this way, it would be one

of the greatest anime ever! Though a little bloody, the story hooks you from the beginning and each manga chapter is better than the

previous.

Both characters and story are the perfect combination. I would have never thought that such a plot will be that good!! It's a

masterpiece. And the opening theme is brilliant, it perfectly sums up the essence of the manga. Absolutely awsome. One of the

better stories i have ever met with!

Yondemasu Yo Azazel-san

Seen: completely; Own: completely;

Last Updated: Sep 12, 2012

9.50 (excellent) Too funny to be ignored. It is not a masterpiece, however, it is worth the time you spend watching it. The main demon characters are a mix of crybabys and evil geniuses... but, the Evil itself is the human who summons them; Akutabe. Azazel, Beelzebub, Salamander... all of them. I think Satanas will pee his pants in the presence of Akutabe.

Then, there is the girl who has a part-time job in Akutabe's: at first she does not know about the summoning and when she learns about it, the girl gets involved with one of the demons as her master, well, kinda. Like Akutabe, she frequently gets pissed off because of the demons, mostly because of Azazel.

There are also angels: a very odd pair of angels. And God, a very lustful and a vengeful one.

Azazel and Bobo-bo would get along for sure.

9.00 (very good) Even Fullmetal Alchemist: Shintetsu is often called "the second part of FMA", that's not true. In fact, it's FMA Shintetsu the original one... I mean that FMA Shintetsu follows the manga plot but FMA does not.

It's a well-done and brilliant anime not just for the graphics but for the story. And the end. Furthermore, Ed and Al's story is so sad but, at the same time, so tender. And they are both so cute and wonderful boys.

Aside from Ed and Al, the homunculi are also a great group of characters. My fave one is Envy.

And one of the funniest ever is Lin, especially when coupled wit Greed XD

Kare Kano

Seen: completely; Own: completely;

Last Updated: May 04, 2011

9.00 (very good) One of the most increible shojo i've ever seen. It's so real that can be happening right now anywhere. There's no magic, no heaven or hell, no myths, nothing out of normal.

The drawing is really beautiful and the plot is very good. It's a little like "Kimi ni Todoke" but a far lot better. Maybe, the only negative point it is (in my opinion) that the anime ends when the manga is getting more and more interesting.

One of the strongest points of kare kano is the music. The opening theme is well-known by every shojo anime-addict. In fact, 5 years ago, in the Fair's Manga of Barcelona, "Tenshi no Yubikiri" was the most sung song by everyone.

I especially remember one of the episodes where the animation was done with clippings. I spent all the afternoon wondering if my TV was broken or something cause i couldn't understand why they have done that episode the way it was. Even now it's a mistery XD

9.00 (very good) I love the drawing; it is not usual, it gives strenght to the plot, it is a unique style... and graphics are very good. A little masterpiece

that, in my opinion, did not have the deserved recognition.

The plot is, indeed, excellent. Characters are all very innovative.

The second OP, by ALI Project, suits perfectly with the plot. In fact, it is called "Katana to Saya" - "Sword and Scabbard" and

represents with pinpoint perfection the relationship between the two main characters.

I really love this anime, an anime i found by chance.

Maybe the graphics or the quality are not the big deal but once you're in... it really doesn't matter. What I like the most is that kind of identity crisis Soichi has... it is hilarious!! But I'd rather call him moron, that's it.

My point is... DMC!

Ponyo is one of the masterpieces of Ghibli Studios, like Tototoro, Chihiro, Porco Rosso and so on. Every story they take becomes an art work.

France is just a womanizer and Russia is so... dangerous or it seems ^^.

At first, i thought that maybe in this anime there will be plenty of "ikemen" but... well, they are but not as expected.

And the stories about chibi Italy are really cute.

It's a good anime if you want to laugh a lot.
